He's a travel writer, photographer and environmental consultant, and author of Wild Swimming Coast, Wild Swimming France, Wild Guide South West and winner of the Writers’ Guild Award for Non-Fiction. He lives at the confluence of two rivers in rural Somerset and is married, with a baby daughter.
