====== Simon Grant ====== ===== About me ===== I'm an transdisciplinary commoner working in the few fields where my sense is that I have most to uniquely contribute. Having lived in a shared student house, a co-housing community for 7 years, and now since 2020 in a micro-community of four older adults, I have something to say about intc:intentional communities and coho:cohousing. I've also been a keen user of and advocate for foss:Open Source software. For many years I've been a contributor to wiks:wikis; and I have my own (DokuWiki) wiki. I've written a lot about knowledge commons. This here wiki is a great example of what I see as a knowledge commons, and I'm proud to be one of the core designers of and contributors to it. ===== Involvement with Growing the Commons ===== I'm one of the pioneering commoners setting up this wiki. user:Katja and I have used our experience with wikis and particularly DokuWiki to lead the design and structure of this wiki. I have a degree in Physics and Philosophy, so I've signed up as one of the curators for the phil:Philosophy page. Recently, I've been working on the documentation, and I'm helping to look for commoner curators for various topics, particularly for topics in the groups: * gt:Digital & media * gt:Learning & personal development ===== My organisations ===== I have grown out of paid work ;-) so I have no formal affiliations. You can see my present and many past connections on [my home page](https://www.simongrant.org/). I also have user pages at * [P2P Foundation wiki](https://wiki.p2pfoundation.net/User:Asimong) * [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Asimong) * etc.! ===== My contact details ===== Again, see on [my home page](https://www.simongrant.org/)
